Hey,

They say that everyone's favorite topic is themselves.

Personally, I can think of A LOT of things I'd rather talk about than me, me, me, but if there is one thing we are all experts on, it is our personal experience.

And today I want to share my personal experience of hunting for and eventually landing a great job in Shanghai with you.

This isn't to show you that I'm some hotshot (I'm not). But I know that so many of the challenges that I experienced when I first moved to Shanghai are challenges that you are currently going through or will be soon. This means that it is important for me to share my experience with you so that you can learn from it.

I just finished putting a case study together on my experience working in Shanghai. In it, I'll show you:

-The most brutally honest email you will ever read about working in China ("How hungry are you to succeed in China???")

-My go-to personal resource for business card printing in Shanghai. Use them, they are the best in town.

-The spreadsheet template I use to manage networking events in Shanghai.

-An email template that you can use to cold-email prospective employers.

-And of course, my personal story of job hunting in Shanghai.

You can read it all here.

If you want to share your experience of job or internship hunting in China with me, just hit "reply" and tell me about it. I read all my emails.

From Shanghai,
Brandon
